What type of parenting style did Dave's Parents in '; A child called it'; use and why?

I never did read the book, but have heard of it (and read that long list that the mom supposedly did to the child), and that's just sick, sick, sick. That isn't even considered a parenting style. It's considered being messed up in the head, having to be sterilized, and go to prison for the rest of her life to suffer.What type of parenting style did Dave's Parents in '; A child called it'; use and why?

i think it was when she stuffed poop in his face so hard it made his nose bleed..then made him eat it.


or when she made him stick his arm on the stove.


or when she made hime swallow dish soap


or when she made him swallow ammonia


or when she stabbed him


or when she constantly starved him, one time it was for 10 days


or when she beat him


or when she locked him in a bathroom with a bucket of bleach and ammonia


or when she made him puke in the toilet and reach in and eat it.


or when she made hime skate up and down the street in the snow with no jacket.


or when she locked him in the basement everday


or when she made him dip his hands in bleach and ammonia


or everyday when she beat him


or everyday when she made him lay in ice water


or when she made him was dishes in scorching hot dish water and he had to keep his hands in. everyday


or how she treated her 4 other boys like angels


or how she told him she hated him


or how she called him ';i';t


or how she told him she was gonna kill him


or how she would make him wait in the car while the family went to restaraunts


or how she made him sit on rocks with his hands under his butt while she took her boys to the zoo all day


or how she didnt take him on family trips


or how se wouldnt feed him


or how she wouldnt let him bathe


or how she mad him wear the same clothes EVERYDAY


or how she pushed him down the stairs in a chair and broke his collar bone








the father on the other hand, was worse in ways, he did care about the child (dave) but he never did anything about it!What type of parenting style did Dave's Parents in '; A child called it'; use and why?
No apparent parenting at all. I hardly call the dad being gone all the time and looking the other way while the mom beats on their little boy as parenting. It's more like ';lack of parenting.';
no parenting at all just plain evil that shouldnt have been allowed kids..... controlling abusive etc etc etc the list goes on with the mother.....the father didnt do nothing so he was void of well a complete conscience.
ABUSE, horrible abuse, his dad wasnt as bad as his mother though
Read the book. They weren't parents at all.
