What is your definition for Good Parenting?

Good parenting is showing your children right from wrong, show by example not do as i say not do as i do. I've been honest about my mistakes with them when they've asked. Don't treat them like they are stupid. They are way smarter then we like to think, also don't have that attitude ';my'; child wouldnt do that. Every child makes mistakes, no child is perfect, no matter what we thinkWhat is your definition for Good Parenting?
A parent's job is raise their children to be healthy, happy, and productive adults. I raise my son with love first, firmness to balance discipline to teach HIM discipline (I use timeouts, no hitting), and use fun to help him learn about things in life.What is your definition for Good Parenting?
First of all respect the fact the your child is a person and needs the tools to grow up to become a good and independent person.


Love your child and be capable of droping whatever it is in order to be there for him or her when the moment demand it.

The respect of your children is the first good sign. If your children want to have children of their own because of the way you treated them is another good sign. I think I've done a fairly good job (so far) raising my kids because when they come home from staying at my dad's they give me a bbbbbbiiiiiiiigggggggg hug and kiss and tell me they missed me sooooooo much!
I would define a good parent a person who is understands that as humans we make mistake and a good parent is able to correct his mistakes and apologize to the child.
