No Playstation during the week, only one hour per day on weekends or school holidays.





Because he'd be on there all day if he could and he needs to use his brain and the rest of his body.

-%26gt;the boys hate not being able to play the PS3 while the little ones are around.





-%26gt;I have this rule because I do not want my children watching them play the games that they play. The violence is everywhere in almost all games they play. I want my children to learn about the outdoors and not be ';game playing'; couch potatoes. :)





-%26gt;this rule will not change and until my two are old enough the older boys will always have to obey by this rule.





-%26gt;the boys don't really break the rule. They play when the kids are in bed or not around but once or twice I have had to tell them to turn it off but normally they respect what I am trying to accomplish for the sake my children.



Rule my oldest teen(15 years) hates the most: We don;t allow our children to go in other people's houses who we do not personally know and he HATES it!!


We have it because we our protective of our children. We don't trust that every other personin this world cares about our children like we do adn we know there are people in this world who we don't want our children around.


It is never going to change, although we do try meet their friends parents and get to know them so they can spend the night and such.


As far as I know, he has only broken it once......but that all I know about!:-)
Mine had different ones but bedtimes was a big one when the eldest two got to thirteen and fourteen but they shared with the younger two so early bed it was as they all went up together - and they *all* needed the sleep anyhow!


We also had *some* confrontations over clothing (especially dressing up to show respect when we went visiting) and which other boys I allowed them to mix with but again while I was legally responsible for them they had to obey my rules - and today they realise that I did everything for the best even if they couldn't see it back then.

Is it ever going to change? sure next year when they go to high school I might raise it to 10:00

No internet unless there is adult supervision





Because there are a lot of pervs on the internet and she is still somewhat naive

Household chores. None of them (mine are all grown up now) ever wanted to help clean the house. It was a constant fight.
