What do you look for in a Parenting message board ?

tips on how to approach children/teens and make them trust me. a lot of kids don't really trust their parents and trust their peers' advice more. unfortunately, their peers usually have the same problems and don't know how to deal with the problems themselves. new ideas on how to teach kids would be very indispensable.What do you look for in a Parenting message board ?

Realisim and honesty.
One that doesn't have members who seem elitist in their wonderful child rearing ways.





I've left enough message boards for parents because the people who ran it were elitist, and if you didn't agree to their views (even over simple things like rapid return to bed method instead of gradual withdrawl for example) then you were obviously doing it WRONG and shouldn't be allowed kids, lol.
reassurance that other people are going through the same everyday struggles.
