Tired of the pregnancy books! What are some good parenting books?

What are some good books I can read to prepare for caring for a young child? I'm bored and want to change my reading materials. I think I've covered the basics of pregnancy!

';What to Expect in the First Year'; is a very informative book about baby's first year. It covers your baby's developement month by month and has a lot of good Q%26amp;A's.Tired of the pregnancy books! What are some good parenting books?
for my shower I got ';Baby's first year';, which i find very practical and very helpful, ';healthy child healthy world'; (it;'s how to raise your child as organically as possible, really interesting actually) and ';Jo frosts's confident baby care'; written by that ';super nanny'; lady. all of these books are really helpful, esp. baby's 1 st year and jo frost's book. my friend said she got them for me at abrnes and noble. and I also like ';what 2 expect the first year'; also another good, practical book about the first year.
Definitely, hands down ';Baby Book'; by Dr. Sears. I know some people don't agree with some of the teachings by him, but I've raised two beautiful daughters reading his book. Of course you have to listen to what your heart believes and tells you, but if you agree with Dr. Sears, then this book will totally help you go through all the happy times and difficult times... He has this magic of easing a restless/nervous wreck mind of newly moms and dads including myself.

i love ';what to expect the first year'; i have four children and i read it with all of my children. you can also look online at some baby advise websites, i also read the parent magazines and the others that are similiar..good luck and let me know how everything works out for you
All the What to Expect books by Heidi Murkoff are great!...Also I love Dr.Spocks parenting books, it covers everything from birth to adolescents, and from issues in society to diaper rashes!...

I love Jenny Mc Carthy's books! She has one ';Belly Laughs: The naked truth about pregnancy and childbrith';, one about raising children and being a first time mom, and one on marriage.....love love love her books...they always bring good laughs :)
