Would you help a struggling neighbor who is having problems with parenting their children?

if i could yes i would.Would you help a struggling neighbor who is having problems with parenting their children?
If, as a result, the children are in some way being physically or mentally harmed, absolutely yes. You can help them by calling child protection services. If she/he is having serious parenting issues, you might try and help by talking to them about it. Other than that, it's really not your business and you probably have a busy life of your own, right? Try to help out as best you can, but don't go as far as meddling or letting it eat away your life.Would you help a struggling neighbor who is having problems with parenting their children?
Well, hon, first I'd have a friendly conversation with the parent and try to find out Why he/she is struggling.

Is it that their daily living is deliberately sabbotaged by themself?

Or is it a legitimate, ';I don't know how to deal with this.'; situation?

If it's a legitimate help is going to help situation, then offer. If an act of God isn't going to make anything any better for what appears to be a self-defeating person, then leave it alone.

Be aware that you run the risk of ending up being blamed for problems coming down the pike should you involve yourself.

See if they would accept help from a third party. We have an agency that helps/teaches new moms how to parent, how to maintain a house, etc...

Know your boundaries and make them clear. If you only want to pitch in Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5 to 7, then say so.

I wish you luck, dear,

and God bless you for wanting to try.
It would depend on the situation. If they asked or gladly accept it yes i would!

If not then i would descretely help them by giving them ';hints'; like ';we punish my daughter by, or I heard this really helps get children to listen, or I read kids misbehave more often if they don't have a healthy diet of....';

It would be kind of rude to unwelcomely start parenting the child though but I hope you find a way to get threw.
Yes, because no one wants to deal with misbehaving kids.

As long as I'm not going to turn into a mother for those kids.
Depends on if we are friends or if they are abusive. If so, yes. Otherwise, no.
