I haven't been here all day, except for a quick post at around 6am. Bear's pretty sick. Now that I'm here I keep seeing posts about b1.tchy people, so I'm kinda glad I missed it. Might just sit out again.





I have my period. Parenting is a snap. I'm a phucking peach. NOW BEAT IT. heh heh j/k.Report happy people are a major buzz kill: Question, when it's that time of the month, is patient parenting?

I'm going to be honest and say that my side of the family is so overly emotional my husband blames everything on our ';super sensitive feelings';, so you can imagine how crazy I get when I have PMS lol. I go from super happy to super upset and I am so irrational I will cry over absolutely ridiculous things...like not being able to have an apple because I forgot to buy them lol.


Then when I get my period I find it really draining and get cramps-not nice :(





I try not to use it as an excuse though-my kids actually make me feel better 90% of the time! :)
lol oh yeah,I use to be on the pill and it helped with some on the mood swings but I have been off it for 3 months now and sometimes I just want to crawl under the blanket and hide,If I notice myself getting a little moody I kick myself in the butt for it and try to channel it somewhere else other than the people around me and my kiddos.I rarely had them while I was on the pill so as soon as I can I am going back on it.
Not really. To be honest, that time of the month has never really been an issue for me.;-)





But patient parenting is more difficult for me at other times like when they are ill, cranky an irritable. or when we are rushed, or when one of us in bad mood.
I definitely have less patience and get more irritated. Tristan is usually with his daddy on those days :] I'm a woman, I get exhausted. I deserve some days off, lol.

Buzz kill is an understatement...





I find myself taking more deep breaths during that time of the month...lol.
OH yes!! i get very moody at that time of the month... my son has learned not to test mommy on those few days but my daughter hasn't quite learned that yet... he is 6 and she is 2
