How is parenting different from caregiving?

thanks! How is parenting different from caregiving?
Parenting and caregiving are very much alike because a lot of the skills needed to raise and or care for a child are found in both. I think the main difference is our job as parents is to give our children a solid foundation for the future. We need to instil morals and sound decision making skills as well as compassion for others and so on. A caregiver is not responsble for choosing how our children are to be raised, but rather take care or our children in a way that is condusive to our way of parenting. Plus a caregiver is only around a certain amount of time but parenting is forever. How is parenting different from caregiving?
parenting starts at birth and continues every moment until the child reaches adulthood (and arguably beyond). caregiving is time-limited.
There is a special bond between a parent and a child. Its like no other!
parenting parent and child

caregiving is taking care of an elderly or sick parent or grandparent
parenting is harder because you have the financial burden and you are legally responsible for everything that happens to that child. Caregiving can be easier because I was a caregiver working in daycare and got to send them home at the end of the day but you still fall in love with them and worry about them.
