If you were to give a new parent advice on parenting in One word what word would you use and why?

Patience.

Why? Because it's going to take all that you have, and you might need to go find some more.If you were to give a new parent advice on parenting in One word what word would you use and why?
parent, this is who you are and encompasses all you will do for your child. rember to be the parent. If you were to give a new parent advice on parenting in One word what word would you use and why?
ENDURANCE... because the whole process is very difficult and long lasting, so it not only takes patience and smarts, but you have to be able to perservere and have endurance through the years...
Vaseline This is fantastic at preventing and soothing nappy rash.
Patience---why? Because you will need it. As a matter of fact, I would keep a surplus on hand at all times. It is an endless, thankless j -o-b.
patience. Because when it comes to children that is one of the main things you need to have.
love
*******love******

because this must be the foundation of every decision, every rebuke and every tear, unconditional...
Patients, Patients and more PATIENTS.Why because with a lot of new parents they weren't ready for all the crying and you have no idea what they want. But just always keep in mind when the Baby is crying if you lose your temper or feel nervous, anything like that let someone thats calm take the baby, the Baby will sense that you are upset and cry more. I'm a Grammy of 13. Many times of of the Moms would be over and the babies just wouldn't stop crying, I could see the frustration. When I took the Babies they would go right to sleep. They thought I was special but it was just that I was calm. Good Luck. You were a Baby once TOO
To be patient to me, respect my beliefs, and to listen to what I have to say before cutting me off.

RELAX
Consistency. Parents have to be consistent in so many things, schedules, bedtimes, meal times, discipline, it goes on and on. If you are not consistent, the child can not depend on what is going is going to happen, they will know this and take advantage of the lack of boundaries and limits.
adapt. parenting is one series of unpredictable situations after the other.
Relax

New parents seem to freak out about EVERYTHING. I understand that things are new and changing very fast. But if you just relax, things will go so much more smoothly. Don't stress out over the little things, just enjoy your experiences and learn from each one.
Patience - because sometimes they cry and for the life of you you can't figure out as to why

Good luck though - being a parent id the greatest experience of your life
flexibility, because everything will change and the parents will need to adapt to that.
d'oh! Why? if you watch the simpsons i guess you already know
Common sense. Okay that's two, but they go together, lol.

';Patience'; would be the one word that I would use from now until adulthood. We all have a pre-conceived idea of how thing should be, how we want them to be, and unfortunately, we need to throw them out the window.

A baby, a child, a future active member of our society is their own little person, will learn what we want them to on their OWN TIMEFRAME, not ours.

Most important thing to keep in mind for new parents it to PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH! If you do not, the child will eventually not respect you or listen to you at ll.
PATIENCE. Why? Babies require much patience from parents and love and gentleness.
Great birthcontrol

Because when you have a child your lucky to be able to have sex.
consistency

you must be consistant
committment

because there is nothing more that a child needs other than committment. Your committment to them in regards to love, support, guidance %26amp; the future years
tired
