What exactly is attachment parenting?

I keep seeing this mentioned and I'm not exactly sure what it is. How can you have unattached parenting in the first place????What exactly is attachment parenting?
It's a term used to describe a parenting style. It consists mainly of ';child wearing,'; when you carry your child in a sling pretty much everywhere you go. You practice co-sleeping, breastfeeding and things of that nature. No cry-it-out methods. No ';schedule setting. ';It's widely used in Asian and Latin cultures and is beginning to be practiced a lot here in America. What exactly is attachment parenting?
Attachment parenting is basically being intuned to your baby/child's needs and involves creating a strong bond. Whether that be by babywearing, cosleeping, breastfeeding, no crying it out, gentle discipline, among many other things.

Unattached parenting (although not really a correct term) would be kind of the opposite, not holding baby much for fear of spoiling child, crying it out to attempt to 'teach' baby to self-soothe, spanking, etc.
i think its were you dont leave your child for a second they sleep with you you wear them etc...

i could be wrong though x
